The effectiveness of using digital games in teaching vocabulary to diverse young learners

My research focuses on examining the effect of  digital tools on vocabulary learning and academic emotions in diverse young learners. The main purpose of my research is to examine efficacy of ongoing morphologic training on vocabulary, reading fluency, and academic emotions among 3rd graders. In addition, I plan to explore whether the response to digital  practice differs as a function of reading levels, socioeconomic status, and gender. I will also explore if teacher’s attitude affects the effectiveness of response to intervention. . The research’s findings will shed light on the reciprocal relations between digital practice ,academic emotions, and literacy gains over time. They will also   help illuminate important techno pedagogical insight to inform development of future intervention.
