Our research is centered on multilingualism, with a particular focus on understanding and identifying the mechanisms underlying the differences in language learning and processing. By harnessing the knowledge gained from highly proficient bilinguals, we aim to enhance our understanding of foreign language learning.

A crucial aspect of our studies involves delving into the intricate interaction between the orthographic and phonological aspects of different languages utilized by multilingual individuals in their reading processes. This exploration sheds light on the cognitive processes underlying language comprehension. Moreover, our research extends to both spoken and signed languages, allowing us to examine the unique aspects of multilingualism in both modalities.
