Students at the center have the opportunity to conduct research using SAFRA’s
longitudinal database. This rich and unique database, described on our website along
with recent studies and publications, tracks a large sample of Hebrew and Arabic-
speaking children from kindergarten through 6th grade. Working on this research
provides students access to an extensive database with linguistic, cognitive, emotional,
and systemic measures, enabling in-depth research and hands-on experience with
advanced research methodologies. However, there are specific requirements for
accessing this database.
Students are required to contribute 20-30 hours to research in one of the following
activities:
Activities are assigned according to the center’s requirements during data collection
periods.
Students who wish and are able to contribute a higher quota of research hours may be
eligible for a scholarship.
