On June 3, 2026, the Annual Grains of Intervention Conference, organized by the Edmond J. Safra Brain Research Center for the Study of Learning Disabilities and the Department of Learning Disabilities, took place.
The conference opened with welcoming remarks by Dr. Yasmin Shalhoub-Awwad, who paid tribute to Professor David Share on the occasion of his retirement. Professor Share then delivered a lecture on reading development, followed by a special panel led by Professor Anat Prior, highlighting his many years of outstanding research and scholarly contributions.
During the event, the Dr. Dina Feitelson Award for Outstanding Doctoral Student was presented to Yamit Harush.
The Edmond J. Safra Center Awards for Outstanding Research were presented to Bayan Shahadeh, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmin Shalhoub-Awwad, and Anat Zafrani, under the supervision of Professor Shelly Shaul. In addition, poster competition awards were presented to Avital Langbord and Veronika Girenko.
